Event Details
Songwriters in all genres of music are encouraged to share their original music, as signups officially open today for the eighth annual statewide Tennessee Songwriters Week. Songwriters can sign up to perform in qualifying rounds all over Tennessee and compete for a chance to play their original music at iconic venues across the state, including The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. In 2026, the program will celebrate more than 6,000 songwriters who have shared their original music on Tennessee stages since the program launched.
Visit Cleveland TN is honored to have been selected again to host a Qualifying Round to be held at the Museum and Cultural Center at 5ive Points on Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Food trucks will begin serving at 5, so plan to make an evening of it! Admission is free.
Helmed by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development since 2019, Tennessee Songwriters Week, held annually each February, supports music venues, provides songwriters with live performance opportunities, drives visitation and inspires travelers to experience the state’s musical stories, history, attractions and venues.
