2022 Quilt Show

Our annual Stitches in Time Quilt Show will take place in-person at the Museum Center at 5ive Points from Wednesday, March 2, 2022 – Saturday, March 5, 2022. We will have bed-turning, vendors, a community service sewing day, and more!

Hours:

  • March 2 – 10 AM to 5 PM
  • March 3 – 10 AM to 7 PM
  • March 4 – 10 AM to 5 PM
  • March 5 – 10 AM to 5 PM

  • February 22 – 25, 2022, 10AM – 4PM
    Drop off quilts at the Museum Center
  • March 1, 2022 at 6PM
    Awards ceremony and show opening
  • March 9 – 11, 2022, 10AM – 4PM

Quilt Show

Tickets:

There are two ticket options: a day pass and a weekend pass. A weekend pass holder will have access to view the exhibit throughout show. A day pass will only be good for a single day. Day passes are $9 and weekend passes are $15. Classes must be registered for separately.

March 2: Community Service Sewing Day

Members of the community are welcome to join the Cherokee Blossom Quilt Guild in working on sewing projects for the Veteran’s Home, Isaish House, and other local ministries.

March 3: Free2Fly Quilted “Shackets” – 12 PM to 1 PM

Join us for lunch as we learn about Project Free2Floy and their quilted jackets. Bring your own lunch or register below to purchase a boxed lunch from Honeybaked Ham. The cost of lunch is $15.

March 4: K-Cut Quilt Blocks Workshop – 2 PM to 4 PM

Join Jackie Cory and Susan Hyder for a workshop on K-Cut quilt blocks. To purchase your kits for this workshop, go to Hyderhangout, Quilt Fabric and More, at 219 1st St NE, Cleveland, TN 37311. The cost to purchase a kit is $29.

March 5: Family Fun Day

Bring the whole family to the museum for hands-on quilting demonstrations, children’s activities, and Bed Turnings.

Rules:

  • Entries must arrive clean, undamaged, and odor-free (exceptions are made for antique quilts).

  • The Museum Center reserves the right to reject, recategorize, or not display inappropriate entries (soiled, damaged, misrepresented, etc.).

  • Quilts need to have a 4” fabric sleeve sewn or pinned to the back for hanging, with the exception of antique quilts. Quilts that do not have a sleeve may be displayed in a suboptimal manner to accommodate the lack of sleeve.

  • Participants may enter up to three (3) quilts.

2022 Quilt Challenge

Our challenge for this year’s show is Log Cabin quilts. All quilts must conform to the Museum Center’s rules.

Vendor Applications

The Museum Center is selling space to vendors to help support this event. As a vendor, you will be allowed to sell your products onsite during the show. We hope to draw a crowd of up to 400 people, so this is a great opportunity to advertise your business and help bring life into our downtown community,
