Event Details

We will have our first Coffee with a Curator for the year on Saturday, April 23rd, at 10AM.  Cash Daniels will give a presentation and then we will have a community trash pick up around downtown.  This is a FREE event for the community in recognition of Earth Day. All ages welcome.  Everyone needs to dress appropriately and bring gloves.  Trash bags will be provided.

Cash DanielsCash is a public speaker, author, photographer, non-profit co-founder and award winning conservationist. Cash is all about taking action cleaning up the Tennessee River. He has won several awards for his work including, but not limited to, 3 time Youth conservationist of the Year with Tennessee Wildlife Foundation, 2 time Ripple effect award winner with Keep the Tennessee River Beautiful, and Prudential spirit of community award winner which awarded 10 youth from across the country for their volunteer efforts, as well as top 5 honoree for Time Magazine Kid of the Year. Cash has spoken at city council meetings, local authorizes such as TWRA, state park rangers and legislators, as well as schools to address the need for conservation and believes no matter your age or abilities, you can make a difference.
