January 26-March 10, 2012 – Stitches-in-Time Quilt Exhibit – view local quilters current works and historical quilts in the largest quilt exhibit in the area. Quilts may be submitted for the exhibit during Museum hours January 2 – 7 and 9 – 14. This is a judged exhibit. For questions call the Museum at 339-5745 and ask for Elizabeth.
February 7, 2012 – Civil War Expo – The Civil War comes alive with Steve and Allison Gipson from the Buttonwillow Church Civil War Dinner Theatre. Drawn from diaries and memoirs, this original fictional presentation combines real history with genuine 19th century passion. Both sides of the conflict are examined in depth and honestly, providing a balanced presentation that rounds out and reinforces your classroom curriculum. This memorable presentation will have the kids thinking, and laughing, and even up on stage participating!

March 24 – May 6, 2012 – Vanishing Appalachia – the story of a vanishing way of life through the photographs of Don Dudenbostel and field recordings by Tom Jester. This exhibit is organized by the East Tennessee Historical Museum in Knoxville.
