 Preview Party ~ Timeless Appalachia

Members are Free, Non Members may attend for $10.

Don Dudenbostel and Tom Jester, creators of Vanishing Appalachia, will sign books and share their favorite Timeless Appalachian traditions. The Museum Guild will host Southern Fare and Spirits, while Agene Parsons will provide music on her hammered dulcimer.

Enjoy this opportunity to shop from the beautiful selection of art and fine crafts before the festival opens to the public.

Saturday July 28, 10-6       Sunday July 29 11-5

 Over 3 dozen artists from the Museum’s Gallery will offer paintings and prints in watercolor, oil and acrylic, hand
turned and carved wood art, gorgeous handmade jewelry, blown and kiln fired glass, ornamental and functional pottery,
and much more.

New ~ activities on Saturday at First Street Square for the whole family including live music, Make-and-Take art projects, sidewalk chalk competitions, lawn games and food vendors.

All weekend – the Museum’s 1924 American LaFrance Fire Truck will be on display on Inman Street.

Sunday on the Museum Courtyard ~ “Catch-A-Bite” Sunday Brunch. Moderately priced buffet from Catch Bar & Grill, more Make-and-Take art Projects, more sidewalk chalk competitions, and lawn games.
