Annual Appeal 2012 – The Myra Inman Project
During the Civil War, from 1859-1866, a teenaged Cleveland girl named Myra Inman faithfully kept a diary. Little did she know that one day her simple journal, now published in book form, would one day be such an important part of our local history?
Help us share her story.
Your donation will help us bring Myra Inman back to life through a short play we are developing with the help of Civil War scholar Dr. Neil Greenwood and playwright Dan Buck. Every dollar donated gets us closer to our goal of bringing this wonderful girl and her story of hometown heroism to area schools and community groups.
